Programs

Museum programs, including school programs, are being reintroduced as safety and capacity limits permit. Please look at our Programs page for updates.

Archives

The Archives is open under normal operating procedures, and open to researchers Tuesdays through Fridays, 1:15 to 4:00pm. Please visit the Archives page for notices including temporary closures.

When You Arrive

The admissions desk requires that you check in your bags and any food and beverages upon entry. Bags may damage artifacts in our galleries' smaller spaces, and food and beverages may also damage artifacts or attract pests.

Please Talk!

We encourage you talk in our galleries, have fun, and discuss the content and artifacts you see as you make your way around the building. Laugh, cry, and remember that we like hearing our galleries active!

Taking Pictures

To respect the rights of artists, the KMA allows photographs for personal, non-commercial use only, without a tripod. More information on Canadian copyright law.

Safety Updates

• Masks are currently not required at the Museum.
• The KMA will continue operations with caution and diligence, re-activating features while keeping visitors safe.
• Visitors are encouraged to arrive prepared and reminded to NOT enter any City facility, including the KMA, if they are feeling unwell.
