Are your school programs connected to the BC Curriculum?

Yes. All educational programs offered by the Kamloops Museum and Archives are drafted in connection to the BC Curriculum. For more information, please reach out to the Kamloops Museum and Archives Museum Educator.

Yes. All daycare programs offered by the Kamloops Museum and Archives were created in connection to the BC Early Learning Framework.

Yes! We are able to accommodate two classes back to back. If you are hoping to bring more than two classes, please reach out to discuss possible options with us.

The Kamloops Museum is located at 207 Seymour Street. We are accessible by school bus or city bus. The City of Kamloops also offers the Class Rides Free program, which allows your class (or daycare group!) to ride the bus free of charge. All three floors of the Kamloops Museum are accessible by elevator.  Unfortunately, the cabin located on our first floor is not wheelchair accessible. If you would like to book a program that includes the Cabin (Take a Hike, Highlight Tour, Story Starter Workshop), please contact our Museum Educator for alternative options.

Yes, depending on availability, your class can have a snack or lunch in our Program Room before or after your program. For back-to-back classes, teachers often choose to have snacks between programs. When the weather is nice, there are also Stuart Wood Elementary, Gaglardi Square, and Riverside Park nearby!
