Common Thread

September 20, 2024 – March 8, 2025

Common Thread explores the journey of wool from its natural origins to finished textiles, celebrating the craftsmanship and cultural significance of our region’s wool and fibre production.

Through interactive elements and storytelling, the exhibition invites visitors to discover the deep connections between ranching, retail, and the art of wool-making, weaving together the fabric of our community’s heritage.

A large magnetic photo adorns the walls of the Kamloops Museum. In this space, we encourage all our guests to be loud and learn boldly. We invite you to dive into the Children's Museum, engaging with the exhibits hands-on and exploring through touch.
